YesNo++Has your tub/shower been refinished before?
YesNo++Are there shower doors?
YesNo++Does the faucet or valve leak/drip?
+++++++We cannot work if a fixture is leaking/dripping.
YesNo++Running hot water and drainage are working in the tub/shower.
YesNo++Electrical outlets and finished lighting are working in the bathroom.
+++++++Not temporary lighting.
YesNo++Heat is on in the home. Temperature needs to be at least 60 degrees for refinishing.
Please acknowledge the following information.
++NWTS will vent out with fan or ducting in the nearest door or window as we work.
++No other trades will be working at the time of the refinishing.
+++++++Tub: drain will be masked off (NWTS does not remove) and the overflow will be set aside.
+++++++Fiberglass: water control trim and drain cover will be set aside. Showerhead and tub spout will be masked off.
++Caulking: New white silicone caulking is reapplied when the gap size is less than 1/4".
+++++++Tub: caulk is removed around the refinished area.
+++++++Shower: caulk is removed where threshold meets the floor.
++Allow 48 hours to cure after refinishing.
+++++++After 48 hours, the overflow and/or trim can be reinstalled by customer.
++NWTS masks to cover and protect the bathroom.
+++++++Masking tape can sometimes pull off the existing paint or wallpaper. The customer is responsible for touch up paint or repairs, if needed.
++How you can prepare:
+++++++To allow for draping and masking, remove all items from the bathroom such as shower curtain, toiletries, wall hangings; clear off countertop and remove loose items from the floor.
++Flooring in the bathroom and tub/shower surround are finished (no bare subfloor, bare drywall, exposed studs, etc.).
++For best results, NWTS is typically the final contractor as we need a clean, dust free environment to help prevent dust from settling in the new finish. Please discuss further if your bathroom will not be in a finished state. There will be a return service fee to repair damage or buff dust caused from remodeling. *see below for more details.
When adverse weather arrives, we assess the roads the morning of the job. Often, they clear the main roads but not the side roads. We need safe access including side roads, parking, and walkways to carry our equipment or we will have to postpone.
++There will be additional charges if there is excessive wait time, inaccurate answers or we have to return to repair damages or buff dust from remodeling.
If you need to add any additional information, please use the space below.
*Some special circumstances such as vanity or toilet being close to tub justify installation after the refinishing. Some people choose to paint the walls as the final step. If you paint last, use care not to damage the refinishing.*
